Why he might be annoying:

He had the gimmick of a Native American, but he wasn't Native American.
He wasn't very good on the microphone.
His wrestling didn't stand the test of time because most of todays fans no little about him, let alone even heard of him.
Most of the recent fans only know him as the mentor of Tatanka, a mediocre wrestler who also had a stereotypical Native American gimmick.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was a huge name in the 70's and early 80's and he was named Most Popular Wrestler of the Year in PWI in 1973 and Inspirational Wrestler of the Year in 1979.
He was a tag team specialist, winning the WWE Tag Team titles with three different opponents.
He's best known for his brutality, as his 'war path' would lead to brutal matches.
Although kneed lifts and chops aren't that spectacular today, he was one of the first to do them and they looked devastating.
He was one of few wrestlers to retire when he knew his best days were over.
After his retirement, he remained working for the WWE as a road agent and even took a bump while in his 60's.
He's a member of the WWE Hall of Fame.
