Object of the game:
18 players are divided into two teams.
Each episode they are assigned the same task.
Each team chooses a project manager (team leader) who leads the team.
The team that earns the most money for the task wins.
The winning team gets a reward.
The winning project manager is exempt from being fired during the next task.
The project manager (team leader) of the losing team selects two other members of the losing team to meet with Donald Trump, Carolyn Kepcher and George Ross.
Each pleads why they should continue on but Donald Trump eventually eliminates one of them

Why Apprentice 3 might be annoying
It seems like they hired these people from look-alike casting. They have look-alikes for Steve Bailey, Buckwheat, Jenna Elfman, Arthur Godfrey, Rudy Giuliani, Rosie O'Donnell, Josh Saviano, Ashlee Simpson, Christine Taylor, Christopher Titus, Vince Vaughn and Lana Wood.
The twist was not the usual men vs. women but those that graduated college vs those that just have a high school diploma - boring!
The non college graduates had three times the income of the college grads.
They not only continued the policy of product placement, but it grew in Apprentice 3.
They featured competing companies that appeared on Apprentice 2.
On the fourth episode, both teams lost and Trump chose from six possible candidates to fire.
It promoted 'The Contender' and 'The Apprentice: Martha Stewart' spin offs.
Both teams lost a task when neither directed a useful commercial for Dove.
Why Apprentice 3 might not be annoying
They continued the success of Apprentice and Apprentice 2 with very little tampering.
During the series, they confirmed Apprentice IV and V will air.
They had some firsts on this version:
Verna Felton attempted to quit in the second episode and did quit in the third.
Although Michael Tarshi was exempt from being fired, losing Project Manager Danny Kastner brought him into the elimination boardroom, hoping Trump would lift the immunity (he didn't).
The two finalists were female.
