    It makes Point Pleasant, New Jersey, appear to be a nice place.
    Why would Satan vacation in New Jersey?
    They never actually showed us any of Point Pleasant's landmarks.
    It was cancelled with five episodes unaired.
    It was a rip-off of the movie 'The Omen.'
    It was New Jersey's answer to 'The O.C.'

Why Point Pleasant might not be annoying:

    It angered many residents of the Jersey Shore.
    Point Pleasant's mayor had to make a public announcement, hinting that Satan was not actually in the town, and that the show was fiction (you have to tell people that?).
