Defenseman for the Toronto Maple Leafs (1998-2011), Boston Bruins (2011), Carolina Hurricanes (2011-12) and the Montreal Canadiens (2012-13)
Why he might be annoying
He ended up in a contract dispute with the Leafs on two occasions.
Despite being the longest tenured player on the team, he wasn't considered a candidate for the team's vacant captaincy position.
He is extremely injury prone.
He was a frequent target of trade rumours, during Brian Burke's tenure as GM.
He spent the majority of his career playing on underachieving Leafs teams.
Why he might not be annoying
He and his brother, Frantisek, played for the Czech Republic's Gold Medal winning team at the IIHF World Hockey Championship (2005).
He established himself as a mainstay on the Leafs blueline, following the horrific injury to Bryan Berard.
He is the 4th player in NHL history to hit all four targets at the All-Star Skills Competition's shot accuracy event.
He passed Tim Horton as the Leafs franchise holder for most points scored by a defenseman.
Despite taking plenty of criticism from the Toronto media, he is a fan favorite among Maple Leaf Fans.
