The Resume

    (December 3, 2008-April 11, 2012)
    Presented by Adam Richman
Premise: Adam Richman visits various cities throughout the US and takes on their local food challenges
    Airs on the Travel Channel
Also known as 'Man v. Food Nation' in season 4.

Why Man v. Food might be annoying:

Just about all of the food Adam eats is really unhealthy.
The show has been criticized for promoting gluttony.
Most of the food challenges require Adam to eat several pounds of food in one sitting.
They attempted to break a world record on the show by having Adam and 40 other people eat a 190 pound hamburger in 2 hours (they failed).

Why Man v. Food might not be annoying:

It quickly became one of the most popular shows on the Travel Channel.
In addition to the major cities, the show will film episodes in lesser-know cities like Portland, Maine and Springfield, Illinois.
Starting in season four, the show allowed pedestrians and fans to take on the food challenges while Richman coached them.
Despite eating so much unhealthy food, Adam has somehow avoided becoming morbidly obese.
