Why they might be annoying:

Frontman James Walsh covered the S Club 7 hit 'Don't Stop Movin' on British national radio.
During a concert in San Francisco, the crowd chanted for the band to play 'Last Nite' by The Strokes (a song that they covered once before), but they would not and Walsh was later quoted as saying: '...I'm not playing another Strokes song until they cover one of ours.'

Why they might not be annoying:

Their name was taken from a Tim Buckley LP.
James Walsh has been writing his own songs since he was 14.
