Goalie for the New York Rangers (1981-93), Florida Panthers (1993-98), Philadelphia Flyers (1998-2000), New York Islanders (2000-01) and New Jersey Devils (2001-02)

Why he might be annoying:

His nickname is 'Beezer.'
His surname is very long and hard to spell.
He had some of the plainest goalie masks in his career such as the famous 'Panther head' mask.
He announced his retirement at the end of game 7 of the 2001 Stanley Cup Finals only to come back the next season.
He was the head coach of the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds and used racial slurs about the team captain behind his back. This led to his resignation.
He blamed his racial comments as result of growing up in Detroit.

Why he might not be annoying:

He single handedly carried an upstart Florida Panthers team on his back their first few seasons and their amazing playoff run in 1996.
He was the first cover athlete on the EA Sports NHL series (1997).
He retired as the Florida Panthers all-time franchise leader in many goaltending categories.
He is the first goalie to play for the Rangers, Islanders & Devils.
