Why she might be annoying:

She isn't known for anything else.
Her only other credits are for voice work (cartoons, radio).

Why she might not be annoying:

She replaced Ruth Buzzi as the adult female on the show.
Although 'You Can't Do That On Television' was known for it's mess, she was hardly ever messed up.
All of her characters are irritating (snooty librarian, bossy mom, Senate committee member).
Her character of the mother always wore yellow cleaning gloves because her hands were deemed 'too elegant.'
She wrote several plays.
Besides Les Lye she was on the show the longest.
'You Can't Do That on Television' is a cult classic.
