Defenseman for the Toronto Maple Leafs (1956-67, 1970-73), Oakland Seals (1967-68) and the Detroit Red Wings (1968-70)

He had six seasons where he recorded 100+ penalty minutes.
He had a cantankerous relationship with Leafs GM/coach Punch Imlach.
He demanded to be traded to an Original Six team after one season with the Seals.
He was injury prone throughout his career.
