Why she might be annoying
She met her future husband – a few years younger than she – online.
She had daydreams about being in the Saturday Night Live cast.
With Caitlyn Jenner co-hosting a View episode, she unwittingly fouled up on the gender pronoun and did an S-bomb in front of the cameras!
When she had her firstborn, she spoke of dealing with postpartum depression.
Otherwise, she has a reputation for being perpetually perky.
Why she might not be annoying
Before hosting Today, she was a production coordinator and part of NBC’s Page Program.
She claimed two long-term relationships – one of whom was already a father – lasting roughly four years each.
In addition to being on the college basketball and volleyball teams, she would become a triathlete.
But she didn’t ignore the arts, either — especially not when it came to comedy sketches.
She manages to keep much of her personal life private.
