Why she might be annoying:

She tried to get into the British Parliament for 15 years, finally succeeding on her fifth try (1973).
If someone gives a long speech, she will fake a yawn.
She has no problem admonishing members of parliament.

She refused to wear the traditional speaker's wig.
Her platform was 'Elect me for what I am, not for what I was born' (female).
She lived in the U.S. in the '50s and campaigned for Kennedy.
She was selected the 18th most influential woman in the UK, by Good Housekeeping (2000).
She took up paragliding in her 60's.
She is firm and fair.
Before entering politics she made a living as a dancer.
