Hockey Player

The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

    His nickname was 'Nappy.'
He was unable to replicate the same numbers he posted in Montreal.
He chose #65 as result of his foundation he ran, called the 65 Roses Sports Club.
He opted to leave the NHL, after he was told by the Sabres that he wasn't guaranteed a roster spot for the 1989-90 season.
His tenure with the OHL's Toronto St. Michael's Majors was remembered for him trading away his two best players, Mike Danton and Sheldon Keefe to Barrie for practically players of little value in return.

Why he might not be annoying:

He earned Rookie of the Year honors with Toronto of the WHA (1976).
He was the first player in NHL history to wear #65 in a regular season game.
He won two Stanley Cup rings during his career (1979, 1985).
He briefly served as the president of the NHL Alumni Association in the 1990's.
He played in over 1,000 career games in the NHL and WHA combined.
He admitted his decision to trade away both Danton and Keefe, along with the rest of the 'Brampton Boys' was largely in part to cut ties with David Frost, who was seen as being a toxic figure around the team.
