Why he might be annoying
He has various tattoos on his upper body.
He was another first round draft pick the Canucks failed to develop in their own system and traded him to Florida after four seasons.
He was placed on waivers months after being traded to the Panthers and was claimed by the Islanders in what would be another mistake for the Panthers franchise.
Prior to playing for the Islanders, his work ethic came into question.
He goes by the nickname 'Grabs.'
Why he might not be annoying
He is the first Austrian born NHL player to have developed his skills in the country.
He moved to North America at 16 to hone his skills with Spokane of the Western Hockey League and improve his draft stock.
He was given a chance to be a regular NHL player upon being claimed off waivers by the Islanders.
He won the Fastest Skater competition at the NHL All-Star weekend (2011).
He finished second to Jeff Skinner in voting for the Calder Memorial Trophy (2011).
