Why he might be annoying:

He went undrafted, despite being considered a top prospect in the 2011 NBA Draft.
He was a journeyman player.
He played on three different teams during the 2017 calendar year.
He was unable to make a dent on an NBA roster, serving as nothing more then a bench player.
Some detractors say he got lucky earning two NBA championship rings and playing in the NBA Finals for three consecutive seasons, despite not being a major contributor.

Why he might not be annoying:

He opted to spend all four years at Duke, rather then declare early.
His decision to attend Duke was influenced by the lure of playing under Mike Krzyzewski.
He is along a select handful of players to win both the NCAA national championship and an NBA championship.
He earned the G-League Rookie of the Year honors with Canton (2015-16).
