    Also appeared in the films 'The Prisoner of Zenda' (1922), 'The Lost World' (1925), 'The Private Life of Helen of Troy' (1927), 'The Patriot' (1928), 'The Big House' (1930), 'Grand Hotel' (1932), 'The Mask of Fu Manchu' (1932), 'Queen Christina' (1933), 'Three Godfathers' (1936), 'Angels in the Outfield' (1951) and 'The Prisoner of Zenda' (1952)

Why he might be annoying:

    He went prematurely grey in his 20s.
    He ignored his wife's warning not to exert himself, chased after a groups of teenagers who had thrown the lawn furniture into his pool, and suffered a fatal heart attack.
    A photo of him lying dead on the sidewalk was included in Kenneth Anger's 'Hollywood Babylon.'

Why he might not be annoying:

    He served in both the Spanish American War and World War I.
    He was nominated for the Oscar as Best Actor for 'The Patriot.'
    He was a font of advice for newcomers to Hollywood.
    Louis B. Mayer admired him so much that he insisted on paying Stone for a full work year even at the end of his career when he working only 12 weeks a year for MGM.
