    Prussian Minister of the Interior, Commander-in-Chief of the Prussian Police and Gestapo and Commissioner for Aviation (1933)
    Commander-in-chief of the Luftwaffe (1935-1945)
    Nicknamed 'Fatso Goering' by Allied soldiers

Why he might be annoying:

    During WW I, he shot down 22 Allied aircraft.
    He was wounded in the Munich Beer-Hall putsch and forced to flee from Germany (1923).
    He was admitted to an asylum and became a morphine addict in the course of his recovery (September 1925).
    As the creator of the secret police, Goering, along with Reinhard Heydrich and Heinrich Himmler, set up the early concentration camps.
    The German Wehrmacht (army) stole many fine art works from conquered countries in Europe, the works were given to top Nazi officials, mostly Goering and Adolf Hitler.The German masses regarded him as manly, honest and more accessible than the Fuhrer, mistaking his extrovert bluster and vitality for human warmth.
    In the late years of the war he thought of he would try to make a peace-pact with Great Britain, but he could not decide which of his uniforms to wear.
    At the Nuremberg Trials he was found guilty of conspiracy to wage war, crimes against peace, war crimes and crimes against humanity.
    He was sentenced to death by hanging, but was afraid of being killed by another person, so he committed suicide with a cyanide capsule.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He enjoyed building models, and had a large Train layout set up in the attic of his house that he often played with.
    He was true to his marriage vows, and married another woman only after the death of his first wife.
