Why they might be annoying:

What's up with the band's name? (They also considered even cheesier names, such as 'Dino Rhino'!)
Although they're a band formed in the 2010's, their musical style seems to be stuck somewhere back around the year 1988.
Tiff Alkouri and James Ramsey have been the only consistent members of the band, while the lead guitar, bass and drum personnel suffered from the 'revolving door' syndrome.
They went through several drummers over the years, so they gave the drummer position the silly Alan Smithee-esque pseudonym 'Cahuenga Mango'.
Tiff dyes her hair, often in two different tones (similar to the hair of Berlin singer Terri Nunn).
They are good friends with Redfoo from LMFAO (the electro-dance act that gave us the polarizing 'Sexy And I Know It').
Also, Redfoo co-produced and mixed their song 'So Many Fishes'.

Why they might not be annoying:

They've produced and marketed their first three albums independently, without the aid of a major record label.
They've made some catchy, radio-friendly pop tunes that will remind some older listeners of 1980's pop music.
They're influenced by pop and rock music not just from the 1980's, but also the 60's and 70's as well.
Tiff Alkouri has a wide vocal range and powerful delivery (she's considered a contralto), and is easy on the eyes.
They've built up a bit of a cult following outside of Los Angeles with the help of some passionate fans on YouTube who recommended the band's music in the comment sections for many 1980's-era hit music videos.
