Why he might be annoying:

In addition to his radio duties, he has been a lawyer, insurance salesman, and a post office worker.
He's given himself the nicknames The Talkmaster, Mighty Whitey, and The High Priest of the Painful Truth.
He graduated high school with a C- average.
He calls himself a Libertarian but his stances on social issues are standard Democratic fare and run of the mill Republican on everything else.
He doesn't allow calls on some issues like abortion (he favors legalized abortion) on his show, which doesn't sound very libertarian.
He was a speechwriter for racist Georgia governor Lester Maddox.
He has a couple of silly-ass on-air feuds going with Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity.

Why he might not be annoying:

For his entire adult life, until he was 49 years old, he always held at least two jobs and as many as six at one time.
He says that next to meeting his wife, the happiest moment in his life was contacting the Georgia Bar Association and having them put him on the list of inactive attorneys.
He wants to shrink the size of government and lower our taxes, especially through the adoption of a national sales tax which would replace the various income, capital gains, and estate taxes.
He donated his royalties from 'The Fair Tax Book' to charity.
