Why he might be annoying:

He shared his name with a journeyman baseball player.
His nickname was 'Pound Cake.'
He bleached his hair blonde.
He was passed over in the NFL Draft, as many scouts considered him to be too small.
The announcement of death was overshadowed by the result of Super Bowl LII in the American sports media.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was of mixed race, as he was born to an African-American father and a Caucasian mother.
He defied the odds and made it to the NFL as a member of the Colts.
He was viewed as being a humble teammate.
He wisely took an Uber home after a night of drinking, but sadly was killed by an impaired driver as he pulled over to the side of the road.
In the months following his passing, the Colts named a foundation in his honor.
