Why he might be annoying:

His Buffalo Bills lost 4 straight Super Bowls (1991-94).
His teams came in very cocky and were manhandled.
In the last 3 of their 4 consecutive Super Bowl loses, they were embarrassed by an average of almost 22 points.
He wrote a goofy 'Go Bills' fight song.
He only had just one winning season in Kansas City.

He molded the Bills from a joke into a powerhouse.
He is the only NFL coach to take a team to four consecutive Super Bowls.
He earned a Masters degree in English history from Harvard.
From 1988 through 1997, the Bills were first in the AFC in winning percentage and second only to the San Francisco 49ers in the NFL.
During his 11 seasons with the Bills, he recorded a 112-70 regular season record and was 11-8 in the playoffs.
He was named NFL Coach of the Year in 1988 and AFC Coach of the Year in 1988, 1993 and 1995.
He is the 5th Jew enshrined in Canton.
He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II.
He coached the closest lost in Super Bowl history, losing by one point after missing a go ahead field goal attempt (Super Bowl XXV January 27, 1991).
