Why he might be annoying:

He has an irritatingly scratchy voice.
His first band, USA, changed their name to Geordie.
Brian spent a few years away from making music after breaking up Geordie (1976).
He's always seen wearing a hat.

Why he might not be annoying:

He's the only Brit in a band of Aussie's.
Bon Scott was impressed with Brian's singing while he was in Geordie.
Brian's first album with AC/DC, 'Back in Black,' had sold well over 16 million units and is the best selling Hard Rock/Heavy Metal album of all time. It's also ranked at #6 in all time album sales.
AC/DC has had a very successful career since hiring Brian after Bon's death.
You'd be hard pressed to find an AC/DC fan who doesn't like Brian.
He's impersonated flawlessly by Artie Lange.
