Why he might be annoying:

    He sported the handsome 70’s television actor look.
    He showcased perfect male hair.
    He sounded like a news reporter as he hosted ‘People’s Court.'

Why he might not be annoying:

    His role in ‘People’s Court’ entailed detailing cases being shown after the episode opening.
    He held up his own presence against the show’s star Joseph Wapner, talking to the litigants after Wapner adjourned the session.
    He sounded like a news reporter because he worked in journalism.
    In ‘People’s Court,’ he would close off the episode with one of two lines: ‘If you're in a dispute with another party and you can't seem to work things out, don't take the law into your own hands; you take 'em to court.’
    If the defendant won, his closing line would be ‘If someone files a lawsuit against you and yet you're convinced you're not guilty, that you've done nothing wrong, don't be intimidated. The best policy, as always, is to stand up for your rights: go to court.’
    In some episodes, he would bring in and talk to Harvey Levin as a legal expert to explain the reasons behind Judge Wapner’s rulings.
