Although they have had a few hits and had frequent time exposed in the media, they still have many underground fans.
Many classic rock bands influence them. Their influences include Blur and Cars.
Robert said, 'Some of the greatest pop songs were written by people in their early-20's, Buddy Holly wrote great pop songs and he died at 22. All those Beatles songs, they were young guys when they wrote their love songs.'
Bands they have toured with include The Strokes, Weezer, The Vines and The Donnas.
They recorded, 'Here Today, Gone Tomorrow' for The Ramones tribute album.
Robert's older brother is actor/drummer, Jason Schwartzman.
