Doctor

The Resume

    (October 29, 1927-February 24, 2016)
    Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
    Nicknamed 'Dr. Nick'
Personal physician of Elvis Presley (1967-77)

Why he might be annoying:

He wrote 10,000 prescriptions for Elvis in 1977 alone.
The Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners permanently suspended his physician's license for overprescribing medications to his patients (1995).
His explanation for writing so many prescriptions was 'I cared too much.'
He organized an unsuccessful Elvis memorabilia exhibit with a centerpiece of his medical bag and an empty vial of painkillers with Elvis' name on it.

Why he might not be annoying:

Whenever he tried to reduce Elvis' intake of pills, the King would just see another physician behind his back.
He gave Elvis thousands of placebos to try to reduce his drug dependency.
He faced death threats from Elvis fans blaming him for the singer's death.
Most of his patients were loyal to him, with many raising money to help pay his legal costs.
