Why Rimouski, Quebec might be annoying:

It has cold snowy winters and warm rainy summers.
Due to its location on the shores of the St. Lawrence River, it is prone to windstorms.
It was the site of the 'Red Night Fire,' in which an industrial fire spread into the town burning 319 homes and half the community to the ground (May 6, 1950).
An urban legend states that one of the priests in the community doused holy water on the ground to prevent the fires from spreading.
It is virtually unknown to the majority of Canadians, except for hockey fans.
The city's nickname is 'The Maritime Capital of Quebec.'
Due to its location as the easternmost city in the province, it takes nearly six hours to get from here to Montréal.

Why Rimouski, Quebec might not be annoying:

It is one of the oldest settlements in Quebec.
It is considered a major port city along the St. Lawrence River.
It is home to the historic Maison Lamontagne.
It is the hub city for eastern Quebec.
It is home to the QMJHL's Rimouski Oceanic hockey team, who won the 2000 Memorial Cup, along with developing future NHL first overall picks Vincent Lecavalier, Sidney Crosby and Alexis Lafrèniere.
It is home to various music festivals throughout the year, which proves you can still come here and enjoy yourself if you aren't a hockey fan.
