    It took them six years to get a record deal.
    It took them 10 years to embark on their first U.S. tour.
    They toured with the band Christian Death.
    They dyed their hair different colors, wore lots of eyeliner and smeared their lipstick.

Why they might not be annoying:

    They were one of the few good Goth bands of the 90's.
    They were influenced by Bauhaus, Gary Numan and Nine Inch Nails.
    Although breaking up, they continue to have a good relationship with each other and are currently working on a Nine Inch Nails tribute album, titled Mr. Self Destruct.
