Drafted ninth overall by the St. Louis Blues in the 1972 NHL Entry Draft
Forward for the St. Louis Blues (1972-75), California Seals/Cleveland Barons (1975-77) and the New York Islanders (1977-84)

Why he might be annoying:

He goes by his middle name instead of his given name of Leonard.
He struggled to find his footing on a weak Blues team.
He was among the lesser known members amongst the Islanders dynasty years.
Despite being a mainstay for the Islanders alumni events, he became less visible in the later years.
He sported a shag hairstyle in the early part of his career.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was a member of all four of the Islanders Stanley Cup winning teams (1980, 1981, 1982, 1983).
He along with John Tonelli and Bob Nystrom formed the 'Banana Line' during the Isles dynasty years.
He scored the Stanley Cup clinching goal, that helped the Islanders win their second consecutive title (1981).
He provided a solid presence up the middle on the Islanders bottom six forward lines.
Despite not being one of the recognizable star players, he was considered a popular teammate.
