The Resume

    (August 28, 1967- )
    Born in Berkeley, California
Outfielder for the Oakland Athletics (1990), San Francisco Giants (1991-95), Cincinnati Reds (1995), Chicago White Sox (1996-97), Los Angeles Dodgers (1997), Boston Red Sox (1998-2001) and the Chicago Cubs (2002)

Why he might be annoying:

He played for seven different teams.
He did not replicate the same degree of success he had with the Giants, after leaving the team.
He spent the back end of his career as a bench player.
He failed to report to the Pittsburgh Pirates after being traded to the team (2002).
Rather then face a suspension for not reporting to Pittsburgh, he elected to retire altogether.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was considered among one of the top ranked stolen base leaders in the 1990's.
He went 342 consecutive games without recording an error (1990-94).
His defensive prowess made him a fan favorite in San Francisco.
He established himself as a full-time player upon being traded to the Giants from Oakland.
His manager, Dusty Baker thought highly enough of him, that he named his own son after him.
