The Resume

    (circa 1964-August 16, 2015)
    Resident of Owings Mills, Maryland
Dressed as Batman to visit hospitalized children
Gained national attention when dash cam video footage of Montgomery County (Maryland) Police pulling him over in full costume went viral (2012)
Nicknamed the 'Baltimore Batman,' 'Route 29 Batman' and 'Lamborghini Batman'
Killed on Interstate 70 in Maryland when his stalled Batmobile was hit by another vehicle while he was checking the engine

Why he might be annoying:

    He was divorced.
He said of his pre-Batman self, 'You wouldn't have liked me. I consider myself back then a little on the obnoxious side.'
He got a couple of speeding tickets for getting lead-footed in the Batmobile.
He is not be confused with another 'Baltimore Batman,' Brian Woodyard, who wore a mask and wielded a machete to protect businesses during a riot.
Or yet another 'Baltimore Batman,' Mark Henry, who streaked Orioles and Ravens games wearing a cape and with an anti-bullying message painted on his chest.
Anyone else noticing that Baltimore seems to have had a surplus of Batman wannabes?

Why he might not be annoying:

He founded a successful cleaning business as a teen, and used the money from selling the business to finance his Batman activities.
He spent an estimated $25,000 a year on toys and Batman paraphernalia to hand out to kids.
The Batman suit was so hot he would sweat off five to six pounds during a typical hospital visit.
His son Brandon accompanied him as Robin on over 50 hospital visits.
He provided a morale boost to kids in a difficult situation.
Laurie Strongin of the charity Hope for Henry said, 'Whenever I asked him to do anything, he always said yes.'
In addition to hospital visits, he went to schools to speak out against bullying and libraries to promote summer reading programs.
At his funeral, his three sons wore yarmulkes with 'Batman' stitched on them.
He said, 'At the end of the day, I say to myself, 'Did I make a difference?' I hope the answer is yes.'
