Baseball Player

The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

His actual first name is Jacinto.
He spent his prime years on some horrendous Tigers teams.
He holds the distinction of being the highest paid player in major league history to be released by his club.
He held the record for the most regular season games played in the divisional era without a playoff appearance, prior to being surpassed by Adam Dunn.
His tenure with the Angels is remembered for him being the final out of Cal Ripken, Jr.'s ironman streak setting game (1995).

Why he might not be annoying:

He is of Jamaican and Puerto Rican descent on his father's side and of Cherokee and Cuban descent on his mother's side.
His acquisition by the Tigers was considered a steal, which was a rare occurrence during the Randy Smith era.
He was considered one of the top second baseman of the late 1990's, despite the fact he played on a poor Tigers team.
He tied a Tigers franchise record after going 6 for 6 in a game, tying the record set by both Ty Cobb and Kid Nance (2001).
