Recorded the albums 'The Angry Young Them' (1965), 'Them Again' (1966), 'Now and Them' (1968), 'Time Out! Time In for Them' (1969), 'Them' (1970) and 'Them in Reality' (1971)
Recorded the singles 'Baby, Please Don't Go' (1964), 'Here Comes the Night' (1965), 'Gloria' (1965), 'Mystic Eyes' (1966), 'It's All Over Now, Baby Blue' (1966) and 'Richard Cory' (1966)

Why they might be annoying:

They named themselves after a sci-fi movie about giant ants.
They earned a reputation for bad manners in interviews, with a reporter from the Irish Independent saying, 'They were the most boorish bunch of youngsters I'd come across in my short career.'
After an American tour, the band split in two factions (1966), leading to a dispute over ownership of the name.
Shortly after the Van Morrison-led faction won the rights to the name, Morrison quit for a solo career.
By the time of the final break-up, none of the members had been part of the original band.

Why they might not be annoying:

They had high-energy live shows.
They were an influence on the Doors, who opened for Them during a week-long engagement at the Whisky-a-Go-Go (June, 1966).
Their song 'Gloria' became a garage band staple.
Critic Dave Marsh called Gloria 'one of the few rock songs that's actually as raunchy as its reputation.'
