Football Player

The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

    His nickname was Big Jim.
His name sounds close to CBS broadcaster Jim Nantz.
He was also drafted by the Chicago Bears in the NFL Draft in the same year he was drafted by the AFL's Boston Patriots (1965).
He had an insignificant rookie season.
At the time the Patriots traded him to the Philadelphia Eagles, he declined to play for the team and retired for a season (1972).

Why he might not be annoying:

He was the two-time NCAA heavyweight wrestling champion (1963 and 1965) and also won All-American honors.
He left the Patriots with the all-time team rushing touchdown record with 60.
He established the AFL season record for most rushing yards with 1,458 (1966).
He rushed over 1,000 yards in two straight seasons as he was the only AFL player to do so (1966-67).
His daughter Nicole died of injuries from an automobile accident.
He was chosen to the New England Patriots' 35th Anniversary Team (1994) and its 50th Anniversary Team (2009).
