Why Reno 911! might be annoying:

Most errors have nothing to do with anything that can be blamed on the fact it is almost all improvisation.
It was nominated for a GLAAD Media Award, despite gay bashing.
It makes light of the dangerous law enforcement profession.
It is filmed mostly in Southern California, not Reno as the show title suggests.
The female characters are either unattractive or sluts.
Many people think it is a blooper that the Reno staff are constantly doing prostitution stings, on the false assumption prostitution is legal in Nevada.
An actual officer was shot during the filming.

Why Reno 911! might not be annoying:

It is almost all improvisation.
Most of the actors play dual roles.
It is an equal opportunity offender.
It has a cult following.
The characters are all very diverse.
