Why he might be annoying
He never lived up to his draft billing.
His career was overshadowed by that of his younger brother, Pierre's.
He was considered 'the forgotten Turgeon' by hockey pundits.
He spent the majority of his NHL career on below average rosters.
He became a journeyman in the European leagues following his departure from the Senators.
Why he might not be annoying
He and Pierre are the first two brothers in NHL history to be selected in the No. 1 and 2 slots of the NHL Entry Draft, albeit in separate years.
He was considered a solid scorer, prior to suffering an abdominal injury that derailed his on-ice performance in later years.
He was a member of the inaugural Senators team (1992-93).
He provided veteran leadership for the young Senators in the team's first few seasons in the NHL.
His 1994-95 Pinnacle trading card saw a surge in popularity during the mid 2010's, after it was revealed a young Patrick Kane was in the background.
Kane's father confirmed Patrick was the child in the card, which helped increase the value of it.
