Defenseman for the New York Rangers (1987-88), Minnesota North Stars/Dallas Stars (1988-95) and the Washington Capitals (1995-99)

Why he might be annoying:

He is divorced and remarried.
He recorded over 1,500 career penalty minutes.
He never played a full season during his career.
Despite being a mainstay on the Capitals blueline, he was left unprotected in the 1999 NHL Expansion Draft.
After being selected by the Atlanta Thrashers in the expansion draft, he opted to retire, rather than join the team.
