Why Daly City, California might be annoying:

    Because it's so close to San Francisco, less people heard about it.
    It gets foggy very often in the summer time.
    Despite being the largest city in San Mateo County, the county seat title belongs to Redwood City.
    It was extremely hit hard by an earthquake which resulted in structural damage, mudslides, 40 injuries and one death (March 22, 1957).
    They watched the Warriors lose in the NBA Finals twice in the Cow Palace (1964 and 1967).
    It was the home to two ill-fated minor league hockey teams, the IHL San Francisco Spiders and the ECHL San Francisco Bulls.
    Writer/journalist Henry Liu was shot and killed at his home (October 15, 1984).

    It was the first city in California to host the NCAA March Madness National Championship (1960).
    The Warriors temporarily returned to the Cow Palace, where they won two games of the 1975 NBA Finals, because the Ice Follies took over the Oakland Coliseum Arena.
    It has a railway station run by the Bay Area Rapid Transit.
    Some people from San Francisco like to come here to shop.
    It has the country's first Karaite synagogue.
