    Point guard for the Los Angeles Lakers (1977-1983), San Diego/Los Angeles Clippers (1983-1989), and Scavolini Pesaro (1989)
    Alumnus of Duquesne University
    Drafted as the 22nd overall pick in the 1977 NBA Draft
    Two-time NBA All Star (1982, 1985)

Why he might be annoying:

    During the first game of the 1983 NBA Finals, he had a violent collision with Philadelphia 76ers player Andrew Toney which led to Nixon dislocating his shoulder.
    When he came off the floor after his fall, coach Pat Riley asked Nixon 'You need a blow?', to which Nixon replied: 'No, a casket.'
    He appeared in the film 'The Fish That Saved Pittsburgh (1979).'
    He faked a free throw which which caused a double lane violation during a 1982 Lakers game against the San Antonio Spurs.
    He was nicknamed 'Stormin' Norman' and 'Savoir Faire.'

Why he might not be annoying:

    His mother contracted myasthenia gravis when Norm was a baby.
    His parents divorced in his childhood.
    In high school, he played the trumpet and was on the yearbook staff.
    He was an integral part of the Los Angeles Lakers that won championships in the early 1980's.
    He married actress, choreographer, and dancer Debbie Allen in 1984.
