Forward for the Minnesota North Stars (1973-77), Philadelphia Flyers (1977-79), St. Louis Blues (1979-83) and the Detroit Red Wings (1983-84)
Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy winner (1981)

Why he might be annoying:

He struggled to find his footing on an NHL roster, prior to joining the Blues.
He opted to pursue a hockey career, despite the fact he excelled more at tennis.
He missed the majority of the 1982-83 season due to an inflammed iris.
His small stature scared teams off from drafting him.
Despite establishing himself as a mainstay in the Blues lineup, he was unceremoniously released by the team 17 games into the 1983-84 season, after a slow start.

He majored in both psychology and sociology at Carleton University during the early stages of his career.
He established himself as a full-time NHL player upon being traded to St. Louis.
