She was a substance abuser.
Because she weighed 80 lbs, many thought she was anorexic, but she was actually a coke head.
She admits to being jealous of castmate, Gilda Radner.

She put herself into rehab and cleaned herself up (1987).
She is still friendly with and lives near Saturday Night Live cast mate, Jane Curtin.
She was able to get explicit phrases past the NBC censor, like 'Hershey Highway' and 'pissed off.'
She has scoliosis and had to wear a brace for a while.
