    Born in Glenwood, Utah
    Cowboy, rodeo performer, stuntman and actor
    Appeared in the films 'The Squaw Man' (1914), 'Cleopatra' (1917), 'In the Days of Buffalo Bill' (1922), 'Fighting For Justice' (1924), 'The Call of Courage' (1925), 'The Western Rover' (1927), 'Two-Gun O'Brien' (1928), 'The Arizona Kid' (1929) and 'Fighters of the Saddle' (1929)

Why he might be annoying:

    Many of his silent films are lost.
    He was unable to make the transition to talking pictures.
    After his film career declined, he became a heavy drinker.
    He was arrested for robbery and liquor possession (1929).
    He was married and divorced three times.
    Two of his wives claimed he was physically abusive.
    He attempted to stage his own kidnapping as a publicity stunt (1930).

Why he might not be annoying:

    He was a member of Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show (1911).
    He won the World Steer Bulldogging Championship (1912).
    Four years later, he won the title again, defeating fellow cowboy actor Hoot Gibson.
    He was awarded the Croix de Guerre for bravery during World War I.
    He was badly burned by the explosion of a gas heater in his home (1928).
    The robbery charges were dismissed.
    Although his death was officially ruled a suicide, there were rumors that he had been murdered by a Mexican politician who caught Acord having an affair with his wife.
