Acted in 'Emanuelle 77 (1976),' 'The Cotton Club (1984),' 'Cry-Baby (1990),' 'Theodore Rex (1995)' and 'The Limey (1999)'

Why he might be annoying:

His fans often call his acting 'naturalistic' when they really mean 'amateurish' or 'horrible.'
He once said anyone who hasn't followed his career is 'scum.'
He appeared in many exploitation and soft-core porn movies.
He did nude scenes in practically every early film.
He describes Andy Warhol's art as 'idiotic,' even though it made him a star.
He stole cars and hustled as a teenager.
He had a bad alcohol problem in the 1970's.

Why he might not be annoying:

His mother was sent to prison when he was just a child.
His father put him into a foster home.
Even when his Warhol movies made money, he barely got paid anything.
Warhol made him work for free as a handyman and secretary.
Later in life, his father tried to cure his drinking problem by force-feeding him liquor.
He quit drinking for good in 1981.
He still has a huge cult following.
