Why he might not be annoying:

He hosts a talk show in a 99-seat theatre that is not televised or broadcasted.
He can only take a gate of about $1,000 per show.
Despite the shortcomings, he has had lots of well-known guests, like Steve Allen, Adam Carolla and John Ritter.
He is usually considered the better host of 'Beat The Geeks.'
