Why she might be annoying:

    Her nickname is Oscar.
    Prior to starting gymnastics, she unsuccessfully tried out tennis and fencing as she had a fear of the racket and the sword.
    She is a Harry Potter fan.
    Her performances in uneven bars, balance beam and individual all-around during her Olympics debut were a disappointment.
    She was unable to compete in the World Championships because of her injured hand and Achilles' tendon (2009).

    Her height is compared to that of Nastia Liukin and Shawn Johnson.
    She was the 6th female Romanian gymnast to win an Olympic Gold Medal in the floor event.
    She recieved a phone call from Romanian President Traian Basescu to congratulate her on winning her first Olympic Gold Medal.
    She shared the Romanian Gymnastics Federation's Athlete of the Year Award with Răzvan Dorin Şelariu (2008).
    She had a great comeback performance at the 2010 Gent World Cup following her injury recovery resulting her to win a Gold Medal.
