Why he might be annoying:

Stoichkov, along with his whole team, were banned for life because of a fight that broke out between the opposing players at the Bulgarian Cup final in 1986.
In a 2003 during a scrimmage game, he broke the leg of an American University player immediately after the refs missed a supposed offside call (which resulted in a goal against his team). Stoichkov was fined $2,000 and suspended 2 games for the incident.
