Why he might be annoying:

He was called the ‘angry one' of the group, and would yell, spit on, and flip off the audience.
He often walked off-stage in the middle of concerts with Soundgarden.
Many fans blame him for the breakup of Soundgarden.
He was initially turned down as the new bassist for Soundgarden. He was only hired after the band quickly fired their original choice for a bassist.
He auditioned for Nirvana and was turned down.

Why he might not be annoying:

He wrote the Soundgarden song, ‘Ty Cobb,' which insults Cobb for being a racist, alcoholic womanizer.
Soundgarden became a huge success shortly after he joined the band.
Outside of Chris Cornell he was the most active member of Soundgarden in writing lyrics and music.
He was a roadie for Nirvana.
He has worked with Billy Idol, Tony Iommi, Chris Cornell, and The Ramones.
