Why he might be annoying
By his early teens, he had appeared in over 80 commercials.
He was part of the original cast of Little House on the Prairie, but after three episodes he was booted out personally by Michael Landon after he tossed a pencil and it hit an actress in the eye.
The TV series created as starring vehicles for him each lasted one season or less.
He recorded a bubblegum-meets-disco album with his sister.
He said about his less-than-stellar film credits, ‘Basically, I sold myself out.’
He fathered a daughter out of wedlock.
Why he might not be annoying
He and Kristy were raised by their mom after their father walked out on the family.
Kristy credited him with pulling her through after she suffered a nervous breakdown while filming ‘I Won’t Dance.’ (1982)
After leaving acting, he had a career in real estate and home remodeling.
He said he enjoys being ‘a regular guy.’
