TV Series
    (October 25, 1996-1999)
Science fiction TV series appearing on FOX
    X-Files spin off
Starring Lance Henriksen, Megan Gallagher, Terry O'Quinn, Brittany Tiplady and Klea Scott
Featured the battles of ex-FBI profiler Frank Black and a mysterious organization known as The Millennium Group against evil forces gathering towards the end of the second Millennium
Lance Henriksen and Megan Gallagher were completely unbelievable as a married couple.
Pre-teen Brittany Tiplady won the only acting award for the show.
It didn't do well ratings wise.
Most episodes were about serial killers.
It often portrayed graphic violence against women and children.
X-Files creator Chris Carter produced seasons one and three but not two.
The pilot was FOX TV's highest rated episode up to that point in its history.
It won The People's Choice Award for Best New TV Dramatic Show in 1997.
Much like its contemporary 'Poltergeist: The Legacy' it had a large cast of semi regulars (appearing from 2-3 episodes to a dozen or more times) that it used to great effect.
It has been very popular in reruns/syndication.
    The writing was superb.
One episode, 'Somehow Satan Got Behind Me,' was the first film version of C.S. Lewis' 'The Screwtape Letters.'
