He was considered the biggest first overall draft bust before Brian Lawton and Alexandre Daigle were drafted.
He wasn't embraced by Montreal fans, who wanted future Hall of Famer Denis Savard taken with the first overall pick.
Many fans are shocked when they hear he was the 1st overall pick from 1980.
He frequently was assigned to the minors.
He was extremely injury prone.
He failed to live up to his potential as an NHL player.
He jeopardized his career when he climbed onto the back of a truck and landed into an oncoming car.
He played on five different teams (NHL & minors combined) during the 1989-90 season.

He recorded 170 points during his final season of junior hockey.
Many hockey pundits say that his failure as an NHL player was a result of many teams favoring a defense oriented game.
His cousin Hayley Wickenheiser is a women's hockey superstar.
He scored the overtime winning goal in the 1986 Campbell Conference Finals which sent the Blues to a game 7 match-up against Calgary.
He has an arena named after him in his hometown of Regina.
After his death, a St. Louis hockey league named a trophy in his honor.
The Wickenheiser Cup is given to one of the league champions in High School hockey in the St. Louis area. The Blues established the 'Fourteen Fund' in his honor to help find a cure for cancer.
