Invented Liquid Paper correction fluid (1951)

Why she might be annoying:

She was married and divorced twice.
She worked as a secretary, but was not much of a typist.
She was fired for spending too much of her time selling Liquid Paper.
When she approached IBM about marketing Liquid Paper, they turned her down.

Why she might not be annoying:

If she had been a better typist, she would have lost out on $50 million.
She was inspired by her hobby of painting, noting 'An artist never corrects by erasing, but always paints over the error.'
She encouraged Liquid Paper employees to participate in corporate decision-making.
She left half her estate to Michael, half to women's charities.
