Why Sopranos might be annoying
It glorified organized crime, gambling, murder, theft and prostitution.
Watchdog group Morality in Media named it the worst show on television.
It showed a woman sexually penetrating a man anally for the first time in TV history.
Tony Soprano constantly cheated on his wife.
It was denounced by Italian anti-defamation groups.
It supposedly inspired several 'dismemberment murders.'
James Gandolfini occasionally throws hissy fits about his contract.
Why Sopranos might not be annoying
It has deep plots and character development rather then just raw violence.
Its concept is unique in that Tony Soprano must balance his business life with his family life.
It has shown the downfalls of drug abuse.
It re-popularized Italian culture.
The show is acclaimed for its subtle use of music.
It has a tendency to throw in humor un-expectantly.
It's a soap opera for men.
The Italian actors sure don't seem to have a problem with it.
